Our People

I am a strategic and project-oriented director/manager, with wide-ranging experience in the wastes management and renewable industry, round the world. Since 2007, I have also been heavily involved with environmental projects focused around renewable energy and wastes technologies, including in Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa. I am a hands-on problem solver with a high rate of achievement and an appetite for new challenges.

A Chartered Civil Engineer with an MSc in Engineering Management, a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of wastes management (CIWM) and have significant practical experience in project and contract management. I was Chair of the SW Centre of the CIWM 2007/9 and am an active committee member of the CIWM’s Scientific and Technical Committee for Biological Treatment and also Thermal Treatment.

I am a frequent speaker around the world on waste management and environmental issues and consider myself a pragmatic environmentalist.

For the past 7 years I have been working largely in business development and waste strategy for a wide range of organisations, including small waste operators, investors/funders, a resource recovery park and international development banks.

My goal is to leave this world in a better place than when I arrived.
